Logitech’s LIGHTSPEED wireless with 1ms response provides excellent performance in gaming with the G915 TKL, from DOTA 2 to an intense Overwatch match and even Apex. I was truly amazed by its responsiveness!

On its top, you will find buttons for switching your wireless dongle connection between Bluetooth and Game Mode, cycling through five levels of RGB lighting, and stowing away when not needed. In addition, the LIGHTSPEED receiver fits neatly inside its cutaway on the back for easy storage when not being used.

The design

G915 is an elegant and sophisticated keyboard designed to be the focal point of your gaming setup. Featuring high-performance low-profile mechanical switches, LIGHTSYNC RGB, pro-grade wireless (with 1ms response time and 40 hours of battery life), sleek, impossibly thin design built to withstand everyday gaming, LIGHTSYNC RGB backlighting, LIGHTSYNC RGB, LIGHTSYNC LED backlighting – it all comes together for an unrivalled gaming experience!

This tenkeyless keyboard is smaller than most full-sized mechanical keyboards and fits on most desks without taking up too much room. Furthermore, its tenkeyless design removes the need for a dedicated number pad to promote ergonomic typing or gaming posture and lower manufacturing costs than full-sized mechanical models.

This keyboard features a brushed metal finish with oleophobic keycaps designed to minimize fingerprints for an elegant appearance and maintain premium aesthetics. In addition, its aluminum alloy top case and steel-reinforced base ensure it can withstand intensive use, and dongle storage is provided on its backside for additional portability.

This keyboard offers intelligent LIGHTSYNC RGB technology with fully customizable per-key lighting and 16.8 million colors for an immersive gaming experience. Create custom color animations or choose from preset effects that respond to in-game action, audio volume or screen color for an engaging gaming experience.

The keys

The G915 TKL mechanical keyboard is one of the most breathtaking on the market, boasting its elegant combination of low profile deck, GL switches and keycaps to form an unparalleled visual experience. Built to a superior standard as well as offering satisfying keypresses every time due to light actuation force and short travel distance.

Logitech’s keys are made with durable aluminum alloy frames with subtly textured brushed finishes for both style and functionality. Lightsync RGB lighting stands out against the metal plate, and it can be customized via G Hub software with presets, per-key customization, and per-zone customization options for maximum customization options.

I tested the TKL with its Tactile switch option, and found it offered an ideal balance of responsiveness and precision. It features comfortable keycaps with slightly curved keys that help make use of it even easier while its GL switches have a slight tactile bump to keep from pressing too hard or frequently. Plus, its surprising durability can hold up against even intensive gaming sessions without breaking.

The TKL comes equipped with rubber feet and three height adjustments that help it remain stationary on any desk surface. Bluetooth support was reliable during my brief testing; additionally, there is also an included USB cable for wired use.

The layout

TKL keyboards are great choices for gaming as they provide many of the same features found on full-sized keyboards in a smaller, more portable form factor. This saves desk space while keeping your favorite mouse close by; plus they make for convenient travel and switching PCs on a regular basis!

The G915 TKL features eight soft-touch buttons and a roller bar across its top for quick media control, such as previous track, play/pause and next track functions. Two leftmost buttons manage its wireless connection (switching between the 1ms LIGHTSPEED connection and regular Bluetooth) as well as its RGB lighting – pressing both together activates custom set of lighting modes that respond to events within games or display text directly onto screen.

Logitech’s GL mechanical switches come in three varieties, from Tactile Key type switches that provide tactile bumps when pressing down on each key, to Clicky Key types which offer more linear feedback with no tactile sensation. Furthermore, Logitech’s keyboard is compatible with its LIGHTSYNC RGB technology which responds to in-game events, audio content, and screen color changes to give an extra dynamic gaming experience.

This brushed aluminium and steel-reinforced keyboard boasts an impossibly thin design weighing in at 368mm, featuring a removable USB receiver that can be stored behind it for easy transportability, removable feet that allow tilting up to four or eight degrees, removable feet that are removable to enable more comfortable ramped typing positions, a USB receiver that is storeable within its backplate for portability purposes, as well as its USB receiver that can be concealed for added portability and a removable USB receiver in its backplate for convenience when transporting or storing USB devices in general.

The lighting

The G915 TKL wireless gaming keyboard combines style, reliability, and functionality into an outstanding tenkeyless wireless gaming keyboard. The sleek brushed aluminum finish looks stunning on any desk and the lighting sparkles bright even under direct sunlight – not to mention it has an excellent profile and weight for comfort during long gaming sessions! In addition, this model provides reliable Bluetooth connection as well as long battery life!

Logitech’s TKL comes equipped with customizable LED lighting beneath each key that can be customized using their Lightsync software. Choose from an extensive palette or make your own using the color picker, and set settings for G logo, media keys and RGB brightness button settings as well as nine preset effects including simple waves or Screen Sampler mode (searching “orange” turned my keyboard orange!). There is even an 8GB SD Card support that makes customization simple!

The key switches on the G915 TKL are low-profile mechanical, yet still offer an intuitive typing experience. Manufactured by Kailh – an obscure brand often overshadowed by Cherry but which still provides similar performance at a much more reasonable cost – their GL switches are very quiet without producing that plasticky click often found on premium keyboards, yet still feel sturdy when typing aggressively.
