With your Android smartphone, effortlessly monitor multiple IP cameras using advanced features like Matrix View, Digital Zoom View and Record Mode.
Built-in with advanced security standards to safeguard video data at rest and in transit. These standards include RSA and AES encryption technologies.
Motion detection in this app works with all cameras and includes sound alerts as well as sending an email notification when detected motion occurs.
Camera Types
Internet Protocol cameras (also known as IP cameras or netcams) offer a versatile security solution, as they don’t rely on local recording devices but rather send images via the network directly. This enables access from anywhere with internet connectivity – including smartphones and other mobile devices.
IP camera systems have become a popular alternative to CCTV in terms of business and home security needs, offering many unique advantages over conventional CCTV.
One key advantage of IP cameras is their remote viewing and control capabilities, which makes them particularly suitable for hard-to-reach places like rooftops and basements. Furthermore, their cameras can easily be relocated as needed – providing flexible security solutions.
Teams should carefully consider the features and benefits that best meet their business’s needs when selecting an IP camera for business. Many systems come equipped with pan/tilt/zoom capability so users can gain a broader perspective at once; other features that might prove helpful may include motion detection or night vision capabilities.
Leaders should pay particular attention to which form of encryption their chosen system supports, as this will protect data both at rest and while in transit, providing protection from cyber attacks.
Camera Capabilities
IP cameras offer an affordable, versatile, and flexible security solution that’s ideal for many different applications. Accessible worldwide via secure Internet connection from any computer or mobile device, these cameras can also be configured for multiple monitoring levels to keep an eye on any situation that arises.
IP cameras offer fast installation and relocation times due to not needing coaxial cables or dedicated computer stations, enabling them to serve both as temporary or permanent solutions, seamlessly integrated into existing network infrastructure and video management systems (VMS).
Many IP camera models feature HD resolutions up to 16 mega-pixels, enabling users to capture detailed images and facial features, license plate numbers for vehicles and license plate numbers from license plate numbers for license plates. Others have wider fields of view for covering larger areas and two-way audio capability which enables stakeholders and security professionals to communicate remotely with one another.
Businesses should prioritize systems with built-in encryption tools that protect data at rest and in transit, to protect footage stored on storage devices or sent between IP cameras and monitoring stations from becoming visible to unauthorised third parties, which reduces cyber attacks and theft risks. Some solutions also come equipped with “Power over Ethernet” (PoE) functionality allowing power and data transmission using only one twisted-pair Ethernet cable, eliminating additional cabling needs.
Camera Settings
Remotely view, control and record IP cameras, webcams, DVRs and NVRs using your mobile device. Offering beginner friendly remote control functions. Supports 2-way audio for Foscam/clone cameras from Axis/Panasonic/Trendnet; plus 2-way audio support from Foscam clones such as Foscam/clone models by Axis and Panasonic as well as many others including Foscam Clone cameras! Record Mode transforms any spare Android device into a solid state, battery backed network video recorder; recording automatically begins upon startup on SD card storage until paused/stopped; using automatic management (older content will be deleted as required). Disk space utilization will automatically manage (older content will be deleted as needed). Disk space usage will automatically managed based on expiry schedule.
Viewing can be set to run either full screen or in a small window for maximum convenience, with video quality configurable per camera and image properties configurable per USB camera. Furthermore, this app uses a small embedded web server to facilitate viewing and recording functions; if necessary this can be disabled in the Settings menu.
If the camera manufacturer requests it, this app may use different user-agents in order to bypass carrier blocks. By default, however, most cameras which utilize Active-X control will require Internet Explorer as its user agent.
Home screen widgets can be configured to display camera names and refresh rates. A notification can also be sent when connectivity to the camera is lost, and an alarm may sound when motion is detected repeatedly – optionally an alarm may sound in addition to playing back a recorded message when motion occurs.
Camera Viewer
This app works with IP cameras that use network connections to broadcast live images and videos. These cameras do not plug directly into computers like webcams do; to connect to one, its IP address must first be obtained either from its documentation or online sources before entering it into this app; once entered it will allow access and control over the camera.
Live video feed from your camera is displayed within this application in a window, with zoom capabilities for closer inspection of images. Camera settings may also be customized, including setting custom image resolution for USB and HDMI cameras and changing motion detection sensitivity settings; these may help prevent false alarms being sent when motion detection occurs.
Another convenient feature of the program is that it connects to web browsers such as Chrome, Safari and Microsoft Edge, enabling anyone at home or away to view security camera feeds using an internet browser on their laptop or PC. While not a replacement for having an IP camera monitor installed at home, this method may prove beneficial if you own multiple cameras in various locations that need monitoring simultaneously.
